My sister and I went for a two mile walk out in the country a few days ago. Since we're pretty out of shape it took us a while. I have to say, it was wonderful seeing the sky change around us. It was about 6:30pm when we left and the sun was just starting to creep its way down. I noticed after about half a mile that the sun was shining bright on one side of the sky, and on the other side, the sky was navy blue with one huge rain cloud. I was staring, in awe when the perfect bolt of lighting shot across the sky. It was beautiful (more beautiful than any television show, so get up, lazy). Of course, I had forgot my camera.

I hated myself for leaving it at home.
Later that night when I got home I rushed inside to get my camera. I have never seen such a beautiful pre-storm sunset. It was orange and purple and dark shades of blue. None of the clouds were ordinary shaped. I never heard thunder, although I saw a few smooth bolts of lightning. I sat out under the sky for a long time that night. It felt very good.
